1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a site. Here the word covers trackers generally: cookies proper, local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) and equivalent technologies.

Storing and reading trackers is governed by Article 82 of French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, and by the CNIL's guidelines.

2. What Mixartisan sets today: nothing

🟢 As at the last update of this page, mixartisan.com sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's storage.

That is not an intention, it is a reading. It was taken two ways, on 3 August 2026:

• in the site's source code, where there is no cookie write, no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no consent banner and no analytics tag;
• in the browser, on the live site: document.cookie is empty, localStorage and sessionStorage are empty, and every resource the page loads comes from mixartisan.com — not a single request to a third-party domain.

You can check it yourself: open your browser's developer tools (F12), then the "Application" or "Storage" tab. You will find nothing under our name.

Specifically:

• No advertising cookies.
• No social network trackers.
• No cross-site tracking, and no sale of data to ad networks.
• No audience measurement tool: no Google Analytics, no Google Tag Manager, no Plausible, no Matomo, nothing equivalent.
• No remotely loaded fonts: the site's fonts are served from mixartisan.com, so your IP address is never handed to a third-party font provider.
• No share buttons, no embedded video, no maps, no iframes.

There is therefore no consent banner on this site, and that is as it should be: a banner only makes sense if there is something to accept or refuse. Here there is nothing.

3. That does not make your visit invisible: the host's logs

We store nothing on your device, but your visit does leave a trace on the server side, as on any website: our host Vercel automatically produces technical logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser type).

Those logs are not trackers within the meaning of Article 82 — nothing is written to or read from your device — but they are personal data. They are described in the privacy policy.

We would rather tell you than let you believe your browsing leaves no trace at all.

4. What will change when the service opens

The service — accounts, projects, the assistant — is not open yet. When it is, some trackers will become necessary, and this page will be updated before that happens, not after.

Expected at that point:

• session and authentication trackers, to keep you signed in from page to page and to verify that the account is yours;
• security trackers, to prevent fraudulent sign-in attempts and rate-limit abuse;
• where applicable, a language preference tracker.

Those trackers are exempt from consent under Article 82 as interpreted by the CNIL, because they are strictly necessary to deliver the service you are asking for.

When they go in, this page will publish the itemised list of what is actually set: technical name, issuer, purpose and lifetime, read in the browser rather than inferred from the code.

If an audience measurement tool is ever installed

• If it is configured to meet the CNIL's exemption conditions (purpose limited to audience measurement, data not combined with other processing, no cross-site tracking, truncated IP address, limited lifetime), it may be set without prior consent, and this page will state its name, its publisher, the country of processing and its lifetime.
• Otherwise, it will only be set after your explicit consent, collected through a banner that makes refusing as easy as accepting. The CNIL recommends keeping that choice for 6 months.

Such measurement would rest on the publisher's legitimate interest in understanding how the service is actually used in order to improve it. It would be aggregated: never used to identify you or to target you individually.

5. How to refuse or delete trackers

Today there is nothing to refuse. Once there is:

Through the consent banner

Where a tracker subject to consent is in place, a banner will let you accept or refuse it, and change your mind at any time through the link provided. Refusing will be as easy as accepting, and will not degrade your access to content.

Through your browser

You can configure your browser at any time to block or delete cookies. The setting is usually found under privacy and security in the browser preferences.

⚠️ Once the service is open, blocking strictly necessary trackers will prevent you from signing in and make the service unusable. That will not be a defect: those trackers carry authentication.

Effect of refusing

Refusing non-essential trackers will have no consequence on your access to the service or on the features you are entitled to.

6. Your rights

Any data collected through these trackers is governed by the privacy policy, which sets out your rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection, along with your right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
